The category-A listed building, situated over a river has been completely renovated to provide outstanding facilities including:

• a cinema/theatre
• café bar
• exhibition space
• visitor welcome centre
• ICT suite
• creative workspaces

The building is situated over a river and will feature a glass terraced seating area (artist's impression below), a glass covered 14 foot victorian water-wheel (which is hoped to be restored) and under-water cameras so visitors can view the nearby otters, herons, bats and salmon whilst relaxing with a cup of coffee and a bite to eat.
